Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail works differently compared to the weapons of Genshin Impact. In Genshin, a character can only use a weapon of their own kind, so Chongyun (a Claymore user) won't be able to use a Catalyst. Meanwhile, in Honkai: Star Rail, characters can use Light Cones of other Paths, but in exchange, the weapon's passive will not be activated.

When it comes to Nihility weapons in Honkai: Star Rail, they either enhance damage from DoT or provide utility like Effect Hit Rate stat. Although Silver Wolf can deal decent damage with a DPS build, missing out on her debuffing can be detrimental to the team's overall DPS. Therefore, the best Silver Wolf Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail generally offers either Effect Hit Rate or more debuffing.

Loop is only viable for Silver Wolf damage, but it's decent for beginner players who want to focus on damage dealing. In the early content, min-maxing damage is unnecessary, so not maximizing Silver Wolf's utility isn't such a bad idea. However, players should note that the boost given by Loop will only apply to Slowed enemies. Silver Wolf can do this via her Talent, but players can also use other characters like Dan Heng or Welt.

At the start of the battle, the wearer's Effect Hit Rate increases by 40% for 3 turn(s).

New Trailblazers can also go for Void which increases Effect Hit Rate for the first three turns. Although limited, it's decent for players who still need to collect other viable Light Cones for their Silver Wolf.

Clearly, using Void in the long term is not recommended as players should be able to get better Light Cones once they play a little longer.

For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12%, stacking up to 3 time(s). This effect also applies to DoT.

Good Night and Sleep Well is solely a weapon for Silver Wolf damage as it offers no utility whatsoever. At S5, it can even outperform an S1 In the Name of the World, which emphasizes its power. Although this Light Cone is meant for a DoT DPS like Sampo and Kafka, players shouldn't worry about the three-debuffs requirement as Silver Wolf can apply six different debuffs on her own.

Increases the wearer's DMG to debuffed enemies by 24%. When the wearer uses their Skill, the Effect Hit Rate for this attack increases by 18%, and ATK increases by 24%.

In the Name of the World is Welt's signature Light Cone, and it's the best option for players who want to focus more on Silver Wolf's damage. The Effect Hit Rate only applies to her Skill, but the damage boost it provides can go a long way for the Stellaron Hunter.

Just keep in mind that players will be losing the utilities she can provide from other Light Cones, so focusing on her personal DPS may not be the best idea.

When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared, then there is a 60% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies' DEF decreases by 12% for 1 turn(s).

For players who have sufficient Effect Hit Rate, Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat is a great weapon for Silver Wolf as it assists the entire team in dealing larger DPS by reducing the enemy's DEF. Sadly, at lower Superimposition, this weapon is not ideal due to its low Base Chance, which sits at a mere 60%. However, at S5, it's easily one of the best options there is; not only for Silver Wolf but for Nihility debuffers in general.

Before the Tutorial Mission Starts is a free Light Cone from Honkai: Star Rail 1.1. It's not the best for Silver Wolf's damage, but it's an amazing utility Light Cone and clearly the most accessible option for F2P players.

It has a high Effect Hit Rate and offers Energy restoration, which allows people to cast Silver Wolf's Ultimate more often and reduce the enemy's DEF.

Increases the wearer's Effect Hit Rate by 24%%. When the wearer deals DMG to an enemy that currently has 3 or more debuffs, increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 12%. After the wearer uses their Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, there is a 100% chance to implant Aether Code on a random target that does not yet have it and was hit by the ability. Targets with Aether Code receive 12% increased DMG for 1 turn.

Incessant Rain is brilliant for Silver Wolf's personal DMG, but it's not the best as it's outshined by In The Name of The World. Fortunately, damage dealing isn't Silver Wolf's main focus, and Incessant Rain can give players just what she needs. This Light Cone increases Effect Hit Rate and applies a debuff that will boost the entire team's DPS. The Crit Rate addition is also decent for bigger numbers from Silver Wolf herself.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation version is in development.
